(The scene opens with Kirk Fogg descending the temple steps on the set at Nickelodeon Studios.)
Kirk: Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple. I'm your host, Kirk Fogg, and this is Olmec, Guardian of the Temple and its Legends.
Olmec: Hey there, Kirk.
Kirk: Olmec and I have been buddies for a long time. Isn't that right, Olmec?
(Olmec's jaw drops slightly. The words "long time" start to echo in his thoughts. The camera cuts closer to Olmec's eyes as he has a flashback. The words "SOUTH AMERICA - 1992" appear at the bottom of the screen.)
Native: (speaking in native language)
Translator: He says that he is showing you the statue of Olmec, the all-powerful god of the Nabyuma people.
Kirk: He'll be perfect for our children's game show.
Translator: Wait, what?
(Kirk reaches into the sack and pulls out a gun. He shoots the translator and the native dead. Other natives hear the sounds and rush toward Kirk, spears in hand. But people dressed in orange uniforms slide down ropes suspended from above. They spray the natives with green slime from squirt guns.)
Kirk: (speaking into radio) Slime man, slime them all!
(An orange airplane flying through the air opens its cargo door and dumps out a great solid mass of green ooze. The slime covers the natives and slowly starts to corrode them. Olmec's mouth opens in shock as he witnesses what has just transpired.)
Kirk: Olmec? Olmec? (The scene changes back to the studio.) I said, what's today's legend?
Olmec: (stammers) Oh, uh, sorry, Kirk. Today's legend is the Necklace of Marie Curie.
Kirk: Thank you, Olmec.
(Olmec starts sobbing as tears run down his stony face. Channel flip.)
