Allusions:
- This segment is (of course) a parody of the popular reality show The Real World.
- Catwoman is shown to have Hello Kitty underwear.
- The monkey that appears with Robin is Gleek from the TV show Super Friends.
- The Falcon mentions Tim Meadows who is an actor.
- Aquaman talking about his capabilities and then breaking down and crying is a reference to how in Super Friends, they only focused on his abilities to breathe underwater and communicate to fish, and ignoring his other powers, such as forging weapons from water.
- The cast plays Yahtzee at the end.
Trivia / Info:
- The Incredible Hulk, the Mighty Thor (who appears in the opening credits sequence of the sketch), and the Falcon are Marvel Comics characters, as opposed to all the other characters, who are from DC Comics.
- This segment was inexplicably split up when added to Adult Swim's video website. All of the parts can be found here.
- When the Hulk is interviewed, and starts talking with a British accent, he is voiced by Seth Green instead of Adam Talbott.
Goofs / Nitpicks:
- All characters are wearing their classic costumes except Batman, who is wearing the 1989 Tim Burton film costume.
- When Aquaman is holding the fish tank, the fish's movements are repeated in the exact same way every time.
- The Hulk is somewhat small in this segment.
- In the comics, the movies and television, Hulk's human form and real name is Bruce Banner, and speaks with American accent, but in this sketch he is portrayed as a British man, which nothing happened in the TV, comics or movies.
