Goofs / Nitpicks:

  • Anne's Diary (Kitty) is shown to have various errors.
    • When writing in her diary, Anne would always begin, "Dear Kitty".
    • Anne is shown to write in cursive, but in this sketch, she is shown to write normally.
    • Anne would always write her diary in German, but in the sketch, she writes English.
  • Despite this sketch has Anne with her love interest would have been played by Chad Michael Murray, the real Anne Frank didn't had a boyfriend/love interest in real-life.
  • Anne and Otto are shown to speak in an American accent, when in most adaptations, Anne and Otto speak in a Dutch/British accent (unlike in real life where they speak Dutch).
  • Anne Frank has had a lot of motion pictures, which are documentaries, and a most recent 2021 animated film called "Where Is Anne Frank".
    • In real-life, the 2021 animated movie that Robot Chicken predicted 16 years after the sketch's release was actually titled Where is Anne Frank, not The Diary of Anne Frank.
    • Despite this sketch predicts the most recent 2021 animated film Where is Anne Frank, The most recent film was actually a co-production between France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Israel since it was funded by Eurimages and Creative Europe MEDIA, not made by the United States, the cast was actually British since it didn't had a American cast in it (with the expection of Israeli filmmaker Ari Folman (who almost directed the film), Karen O and Ben Goldwasser (of MGMT fame) (that only jointed composed the film) and Ludivine Sagnier (in the French dub only)), the film was completely 2D animated, not live-action or stop-motion (despite the fact the producers originally planned to shoot the movie entirely in stop motion, with the characters to be later replaced in traditional 2D animation. But they ultimately used 2D animation for most of the film and used stop-motion sets for the background in some scenes, the director was Israeli: Ari Folman and was never released in the United States entirely, although it was released in the United States at the St. Louis International Film Festival only two decades after the sketch's release.
    • The movie plot for the 2021 film Where is Anne Frank was actually about Kitty, Anne Frank's imaginary friend to whom she addressed her diary, manifesting in contemporary Amsterdam. Seeking to learn what happened to her creator, Kitty attracts worldwide attention and interacts with undocumented immigrants, but in this sketch, they portrayed it more of a teen romantic war drama with comedy elements and Anne Frank serving as the main character just two decades before the actual film's release and actual plot for the movie.
  • Anne Frank's hair is blonde, when in the original, she has black hair.
  • Margot, Edith, Kitty (who wouldn't appear physically until Where Is Anne Frank), the van Pels/van Daan family, Fritz Pfeffer/Albert Dussel, and the all helpers (Miep, Bep, Johannes, Victor, Jan, and Johan) are all absent.
