Allusions:

  • Parody of Peanuts and Footloose.
  • The song that was playing when Snoopy dances in the warehouse is a parody of the song "Holding Out For A Hero" by Bonnie Tyler, which was part of the Footloose soundtrack. However, the song that plays in the Footloose warehouse dance scene spoofed in the sketch is "Never" by Moving Pictures.

Trivia / Info:

  • Kevin Bacon reprises his role of Ren McCormack from the original Footloose.
  • The scene where Snoopy dances is very similar to some scenes in the special "It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown".
  • The "Wah-Wah" sound effect, used for the adult voice is reused from the skit The Time of the Great Pumpkin (with the last part cut out).

Goofs / Nitpicks:

  • Pigpen is missing his trademark dust cloud.
  • In the sketch, Ren is depicted as being close to Charlie Brown's age and, due to this, coming to the Peanuts' school in the sketch (despite the obvious adult voice), whereas in "Footloose", he was a teenager. The same happens for his friend.
