Trivia / Info:

  • J.K. Simmons reprises his role of Vernon Schillinger from Oz. The prison guard references Simmons' role when he says "Got a new fish for you, Simmons!" before tossing the Scarecrow in Schillinger's cell.
  • This is the second mashup between Oz and The Wizard of Oz, the first being Robot Chicken Oz from the show's first aired episode.
  • The man in the table resembles the Sheriff of Nottingham from Robin Hood Wins and Loses and the man who got killed by the Scarecrow is the man from KITT's Day Out.
  • "Ass" appears to be censored in this sketch, likely due to the context of Schillinger demanding being given a rimjob.
  • The judge explains that the three "drowned and melted a woman based on the color of her skin" when they really killed her because she was evil, and at the Wizard's request, no less. This was likely done to add humor.
  • One of the prisoners says "Raping a robot tonight" referring to the Tin Man being made of metal.
  • Toto looks like a stuffed animal when Dorothy talks to the Scarecrow in the prison's visitor room.
  • The flying monkey appears in two scenes in the sketch.

Goofs / Nitpicks:

  • When the Scarecrow pulls muscle tendons out of Vernon's body, blood is seen on his shirt, but when he pulls his lungs out, the blood is gone.
  • Dorothy doesn't appear to have legs at all.
  • When the Scarecrow was shouting "Light up my life!", the handles were down.
  • Scarecrows can't conduct electricity, because they are made of straw and hay. It would have made more sense to burn him instead.
