- Makes reference to the urban legend that an actor playing a munchkin hanged himself on the set of Wizard.
- Joe Miller laughing after Andrew Beckett said “I have AIDS.” is apparently a reference to when Peter Griffin laughed over Tom Hanks’ character from Philadelphia saying that quote assuming “everything he says is a stitch” in a cutaway from the first episode of Family Guy, “Death Has A Shadow”.
- The King Kong section suggests that the best part of the movie was when it was over.
- The same joke about the end credits of King Kong was used in 2 episodes of the Cartoon Network series MAD - which was co-created by recurring Robot Chicken writer Kevin Shinick.
Trivia / Info:
- Calls back to Cultivated Relationships.
- Jack Torrance holds an axe when he is seen frozen in this segment yet when he is frozen in the movie he is not holding anything.
- Katee Sackhoff reprised her role as Kara Thrace from Battlestar Galactica.
Goofs / Nitpicks:
- in real life, actress Olivia de Havilland was the presenter for Best Picture at the 35th Academy Awards for which Lawrence of Arabia won, not Elliott Gould and Elliott Gould wasn't old during that time period.
