- Della is alluded to as Huey, Dewey and Louie's mother, as mentioned (but not seen) in the 1937 comic strip that introduced the nephews. She was referred to as Dumbella in the nephews' film debut, Donald's Nephews.
Trivia / Info:
- Sam Kwasman reprises his role as Donald Duck.
- The special credits say "Whip" "His" "Ass".
- The fact that Louie's voice is "duckish" in this skit, alludes to that Clarence Nash voiced Huey, Dewey and Louie when they first appeared.
- Strangely though, Della was also the chosen name for Huey, Dewey and Louie's mother in the 2017 reboot of DuckTales.
Goofs / Nitpicks:
- Since Della was a call-girl, it's unlikely she had the boys long enough for them to remember her, and not know that she is a prostitute.
- Donald is shown living alongside the triplets in McDuck Manor, even though in the original DuckTales, he was serving the navy, which is why the boys were living with Scrooge in the first place. However, this could've taken place in the original comics continuity (as the reboot didn't exist at the time the sketch first premiered).
