Allusions:

  • Parody of Dora the Explorer.
  • The flashback clip on a surveillance camera of Boots attacking an old woman and getting shot by cops is the same thing that happened to Travis the Chimp from the Old Navy commercials.

Trivia / Info:

  • This may be based on the episode "Daisy, La QuinceaƱera", when Dora's cousin Daisy celebrated her 15th birthday party. Aside from that, it is also a prediction to Dora and Friends: Into the City!, where Dora is a 10 year old.
    • Also aside from both, it is also a prediction to the AOK series Dora the Grownup and the 2019 live-action adventure comedy movie Dora and the Lost City of Gold (since in the film, Dora MĆ”rquez (the protagonist of the "Dora the Explorer" franchise) is a 16-year-old teenager).
      • Unlike the Robot Chicken version, the live-action version of Dora Marquez (played by Isabela Merced from the series 100 Things to Do Before High School), has the same personality as the original version of Dora (intrepid, cheerful, positive, enthusiastic, kind and adventurous), even though she is a 16 year old teenager.
  • During the scene where Dora kisses Maria, it is heavily implied that Dora's transgressive behavior may be the fault of Dora's mother, Mrs. Marquez, as Mrs. Marquez is shown to be an alcoholic woman who gets drunk easily and does not stopped her own daughter from getting drunk herself and doing shameful acts at her own 15th birthday party (such as kissing another girl or jumping from the top of a tall building).
  • It is unknown why Boots went from a talking, intelligent and friendly monkey to a wild, violent and bestial monkey.

Goofs / Nitpicks:

  • Backpack is female. Therefore, she would not have a male voice.
    • Backpack also appears to speak only English, when she speaks both English and Spanish in the show.
  • Boots appears as a realistic chimp than what he appears in the cartoon.
  • Swiper is looking under dresses despite being 10 years old.
    • Swiper also kisses a lady, which is pedophila.
  • Usually, Map is rolled in the actual cartoon, although in the sketch he's not and his face just simply appeared and disappeared on occasion.
    • One scrapped concept of Dora depicts him unrolled.
    • He also is known to have a high intelligence of knowing where to go.
