- Coincidentally, Family Guy made a joke about Mayor McCheese getting murdered in the episode Road to the Multiverse, in which Stewie and Brian end up in a universe where Frank Sinatra was never born and thus unable to influence John F. Kennedy's election, leading to Richard Nixon winning the 1960 election, who then botches the Cuban Missile Crisis, which leads to World War III. Because of all this, Lee Harvey Oswald shot Mayor McCheese instead.
